Modern law and accountancy firms need the capability to monitor their environment, identify weaknesses and threats, and act upon them. Due to the massive increase in malicious software and this constant threat to organisations, we will decipher how Ransomware viruses work, what to do for prevention and how firms in professional services sector can recover from malicious attacks. Combined with this, we are discussing the mandatory data breach notification bill, that if passed, will have a significant impact on the private sector.
The session will be hosted by two expert professional companies, CT Group and Diamond Cyber, who both have extensive knowledge and qualifications within the Information Technology sector. We currently provide these services to a multitude of professional services organisation such as legal firms.
An information technology (IT) disaster recovery (DR) plan provides a structured approach for responding to unplanned incidents that threaten an IT infrastructure, which includes hardware, software, networks, processes and people. Protecting your firm’s investment in its technology infrastructure, and protecting your firm’s ability to conduct business are the key reasons for implementing an IT disaster recovery plan. One of the key focus that will be addressed is how this solution forms part of your business continuity strategy.
This session is ideally suited to highlight the responsibility of Partners within a firm and provide knowledge to Practice Managers in how to continuously educate staff on their information communication technology ownership.
